In the past couple of days I have had to go and visit a friend who has been hospitalized. For the first couple of nights he was in Nakarin, my local hospital and then last night he was transferred to Nakhonpat.

I was very impressed with Nakhonpat indeed. Apart from the waiting room being 'outdoors', the rest looked very nice indeed. My friends room was big, a lot bigger than the private rooms at Nakarin and included things like TV, microwave, fridge and even a computer linked up to the web allowing internet access.

I think next time I have to be hospitalized, it will be Nakhonpat that gets my vote.

What are/have been your experiences of hospitals here in Nakhon?

i cant say that I have spent any night at the hospital, but I have been to several...

For my quick eyes/ears/throat/ light stuff I go to the christian hospital in day time...

After my first meeting with the dirty road (bike went down) I went to Nakharin...

For some things I would run straight down to Maharat (since all the doctors work down ther and are inn)...

Cant complain about anything in the hospitals...

Ps. I was very impressed with the new hospital also...

hello everybody .. i am the one in Nakhonpat.
and still there.
this is good .. the doctor you deal with sees you , tells you what is happening ( all in english)
i feel like i am on the mend now .. well i can breath without fighting for breath.. they were very quick to start helping me.. ok i have insurance , so i do not have to worry about paying the bill when i leave.. less stress..
this hospital is like one you would find in Phuket and has the facilities to help you .. at the moment i am giving thumbs up to Nakhonpat....

I just wish the doctor would make you run for 30min on the stress test... or send in an ex-GF... that way he would quickly see how messed up you could be...

hope to be out on thursday.. again i have to say .. this hospital is good... come here .. if you are sick.. sexy nurses too..
