Are sheep now safe in Wales?

Post by Admin on Fri Mar 05, 2010 1:30 pm

An alleged pervert was caught with a picture of a man having sex with a dead SQUID, a court heard today. Andrew Dymond, 46, was netted when cops apparently found a haul of grossly offensive porn on his home computer.

JPs heard the sea creature was clearly dead in the picture and a man was having sexual intercourse with it. Dymond is charged with possessing an image of someone "performing an act of intercourse with a dead animal, namely an octopus/squid, which was grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character".

He faces a total of 25 porn charges and entered no pleas when he appeared before magistrates. Prosecutors claim Dymond also made 14 indecent photos of children and possessed an additional 57 child porn images. He is also alleged to have had photos of a person performing sex acts with horses and dogs. Four of the allegations state he had images showing acts likely to cause "serious injury to a woman's breasts" and private parts.

It is alleged the images range from level one to four. Five is considered the most serious. Defending, Leigh Davies, told Swansea magistrates: "This is a case that's probably better dealt with in the Crown Court."

Dymond, of Mumbles, Swansea, was freed on conditional bail and is due to appear again on May 12. Bench chairwoman Sonia Walters told him: "You're not to access the internet in any way, whether that's through a computer or a telephone or anyway possible." Dymond was also banned from having any contact with a child under the age of 16.
