Do locals eat a lot of carrots?

Post by Freebird on Wed Jun 24, 2009 9:28 am

The other day I was on my motorbike going down this dark stretch of road when out of nowhere this motorbike went flying past me. Bear in mind it was pitch black, no street lights or shops or anything. I could only see a little way in front of me but this guy had no lights whatsoever. How could he see? Amazing! Nerd

Guess that using your glasses would have helped a bit?

If you stay in a house with a little light (moonlight through the window) you will after a while see better... It is called night vision...

I tend to see much better at night if I have not starred down into a light bulp that is burning...

Each for his own... He might have seen you!

He he...I experience the same every night here in Khanom....in fact that's why I never drive a motorbike at night....I find it too scary, also with all those dogs on the roads....I've already killed 2 dogs with my car....and even the insurance paid for the damages to my car, it's very annoying Hairpull

Perhaps he had a set of those night-vision eye implants. Still, he can't expect everybody to have them.

If you were driving a car at the time, have you taken into account the effect your dark film on the windows?
I have quite a light film on my pickup, purely for this reason. ok, I fry like a vampire when it gets very sunny, but at least I can see reasonably well at night.

She who must be obeyed has quite a dark film on her "posh-mobile" and I hate driving it in the evening because I cant see a thing as soon as it starts getting dark.

I'm sure the bikes can see much clearer at night that the car drivers. Shame they dont seem to appreciate this fact and fix/turnon their lights!
