Just so ya know, that's far from a hard rule. Each company has promotions and special deals from time to time. So, it's always a good idea to check each airline before buying tickets.

Last time I flew to Bangkok,
Air Asia (cheapest and best quality)
I flew back on NOK AIR
more expensive and worse service...
Air asia is run by some clever people, Nok air is run by Thais,,, what do you want to fly with???

Yeah, but the Nok Air trolley dollies certainly look cute in them little yellow dresses. Tis why I like sitting in row 1 on the starboard side.

Re: 3 airlines from Nakhon
I went to bkk over xmas .. flew with air asia.. it was a good flight.. on time .. landed early.. i got a meter taxi outside paragon to suv.. which cost me 200 baht plus the highway tolls.. 70 baht..
suv.has now a burgerking , but you have to go through the gate to find it...
it was good to visit bkk again..
back to the subject.. i think for the price air asia is better.. 3500 return trip.. and the aeroplane was good ,, nothing to say bad here.
