How emotionally fragile are students?

This morning, while walking past one of the classrooms I got called by a student into her homeroom. In the room were three students, one of whom had been crying. When I asked the reason why, they told me it was because of another teacher. Now I had been in the office earlier and heard the conversation between this student and said teacher. There was nothing untoward in it at all yet this M4 students goes to her homeroom and bursts into tears!

Some students really do seem to be very emotionally fragile.
