Computers in the office

When I started at my present place of employment, the office staff had to share computers. Then, there were not enough computers to go around so we used to actually talk to each other. Now, a few years later every member of the staff has his or her own computer. It has just turned 8am and out of the 7 people in the office at the moment, not one word has been said in the last 5 minutes at least. Are computers making people unsociable?

No, but the walls we have between us stop us... Before we could also see each other all the time, now I cant see anyone but the people on my left(the other left)... (they are not here yet!)

We might also be working (nope, that is not going to happen)...

People only talk when they have something to say, why bother yaping on like a woman??

Buhu, just because your place is all gossip and complaints, does not mean our place is the same!

Talking creates a better friendship in the workplace. It means that people will enjoy their jobs more and be more productive during the days. It will also be more fun on camps and other occations where we have to see eachother!

Maybe you should try it at your place, talk to the people in the office, maybe you will even start to look at life a bit more happy!
