Norway a brief report!

Post by Snowflake on Sat Oct 17, 2009 8:26 pm

So, I have now been in Norway for almost 1 week, let us see what I have done/accomplished so far...

I have been to several super markets and malls, I have bought several new jeans for myself, walked inn and said I need jeans, they went and got me several... (my size too)...

I have weeweed off my mum and step dad, as I complained about their lifestyles, not healthy at all..

Spent more money on one shopping trip that I earn in a month!

Renewed my passport and saved myself two trips to Bangkok!!!

I have NOT received a fine/ticket from the police yet!
I have (borrowed my neighbours SLK for a quick spin, but have to say that it is just to cold to drive with the top down! (it was below 10 degrees as I took it downtown to pick up a "new friend" (the girl who works at the pass port office) :-)

So all in all I have had a good week, but I look forward to going back home, my need to be in this country where a bottle of soda in 7eleven costs 136 baht!!! to much for me!!!

Where are the pics then? I'm sure some people would be interested in picks from Viking land.

Wish I had any pictures, but the sad truth is that I have been to bloody busy to take pictures!

I have painted, built, moved, and been at the hospital for too long...

I got back from the hospital only 30 min ago, and I have to leave home in 1 hour, just pack and then leave...

See you all soon!!! PS.. I have proof, lowest temp was 2 degrees this week, in the afternoon+ evening!

2 degrees, luxury. I remember when there were 14 of us, living in a shoebox just 4 km from the Arctic Circle. 2 degrees, you haven't had it so easy lad.

I know what you mean about the price of things Snowflake......even tho I have been back for 3 years I still convert things back to baht and its a mistake!! A cup of coffee is 120 baht and a bottle of water is 80 baht! My rent is 4,500 baht a week!
I have said before and I will say again.....I miss the affordability of living!!
