Mechanical mayhem...

Post by Norris McWhirter on Thu Aug 06, 2009 9:13 am

Biak's garage opposite the Shell station at KuwKwang.

My car was in there for a a good few weeks. When finally ready for collection, Biak wasn't there but his lackeys were. Guess he didn't want to face the music...

Steering wheel has been eaten into by dirty mechanic's hands. Literally.
A/C doesn't work but was fine before the car went to the garage.
Filth and crud around the foot wells.
Greasy fingerprints all over the interior coachwork.
Greasy fingerprints all over the windows, inside and out.
Dashboard LCD odometer and clock displays damaged.
Original car problems still not sorted out properly.

Now the likelihood of me getting any compensation form him is nil. A Thai already phoned him to talk about it all, and he would only say he knew nothing about anything and to take the car to an electrical shop.

It's not the first time he's been poor. While he had the car he even told me it was fixed after the first week. All he had done was change the plugs and oil. I drove away for it to break down a few yards away and had to push it back to his garage. I was going on holiday and had no choice but to leave it with him.

I won't be using him again. I advise you to give hm a miss, too. He was recommended to me by a couple of guys who had no grief, but that's life, I guess.

Hope this helps someone...

Could you give more details about his location, what brand of car do you have? How old is it?

No excuse for returning the car dirty, I hate when that happens... Just shows that he does not care about your car...

Seems to be all too common here .... total lack of customer care. Idiot, he has now lost your business and potentially any other business from your recommendations to friends etc.
