Up Coming Buddha Days and Days Off!

Post by HuaNgu on Mon Jun 29, 2009 3:17 pm

Fortunately, Monday next week has been canceled so that means we're getting from noon on Friday the 3rd (thanks to Sport Day!) until Thursday the 9th off!!!!! I was planning a trip to Phuket with the boys but now that a few of them have turned homo, I'm not sure what to do... hmmmm.

How about the rest of you's? How much time do you have? Any plans for the holiday?

Free at last! Free at last! Thank Buddha (days) almighty, I'm free at last!

Time off??? Well we have to arrange the culture course for the new teachers so I will probably be there on Sat. Sun. AND MONDAY... just to relax Tuesday and Friday... Guess it is ok since I really don't do anything during the week...

So you want to go and visit the american seamen? Well, good for you!!

Hey Snowflake,

Can you tell when the best times will be to transport the Culture Course attendees to Brittania Tavern? At 10 baht per head, my car can carry 5 passengers for that short ride.

50 baht per trip ain't so bad! (as long as I save it all to spend at one time, instead of chugging a bottle during each trip)

Chugging a bottle on each trip might be a good idea, a bottle of water... We do not promote in any way drinking and driving... It is a bad idea and we hope that all our users are following that mantra...

Admin - The man of steel will ofcourse not drink and drive...
I will do my best to restrain myself from now on...

The best time will probably be around 1800 as the seminar is finished then and the wannabe patrons should then have had time for a shower!

We should try to organize something there for the people willing to go there...

I just hope that there will be enough beer there... COLD beer...

OK, Snowflake. If you can organize this showing of hospitality from us NST folk, then I'll make myself (and jalopy) available for transport. I can only transport 5 persons. The proprietor has agreed to the aforementioned "reimbursement of fuel cost".

BTW, NakhonsiSean, you might "close" the establishment on Tuesday and Wednesday for a "private function" - donations to the private function might be ___ baht, which would include 2 beers; once inside, further donations are possible ;)

I will try to convince Sean to get down to the hotel at lunchtime to promote his tavern... I will also try to get more people to come there... (I hope there are some hot girls there as well)...

It could be fun and interesting to see what will happen...

Coming down around noon on Saturday would be no problem.

I'd love to be there but of course, I have no culture.

I am not sure that you have NO CULTURE... Might be a bad culture or a hooligan culture, but still deep down, you have some culture... There is hope for your, I am worse off...

I am so bad off that even after attending the seminar last year, I have to do it all over again!
