Happy Birthdays

It just so happens that I've reached the ripe old age of 47 27 today and the kids at my school have been brilliant. Before the end of the first period, I had quickly amassed 3 cakes and loads of chocolate and some from classes I don't even teach.

And ... in each class I've had so far I have been greeted by varying strains of 'Happy Birthday to you ...' You know, Thai kids can be little buggers at times but they can also be lovely as they have proved today.

Now, gotta go ..... my office has bought a load of pizzas for the staff as it's my birthday!
(Where else would you get that?)

since you are the oldest in the staff room .. i gather , since you are in thailand,, you get to pay the bill FOR THE PIZZAS... ? HAPPY BIRTHDAY..

Guess who had to call the Pizza Company???? 
The Pizza's are lovely, only spoiled by the fact that Admin does not like Swensens Ice-cream cake... He got his Dairy Queen, the rest of us could just watch him... 
School pays for the party, does your school not do that for you??? Social event? Bringing the office closer together???

but as for the ice cream cake .. lucky sod!.. he must be old... he has turned into a grumpy old man... has he started complaining about thing ,, and it has started with .. i do not like that ice cream cake...
when you are young .. you think of other peoples feeling .. you say .. thank you everyone for buying me a cake .. ( even if you do not like it )
you should be feeling good .. at least the bought you something.

He did not buy anything, school bought it all!!! 
Jealous of your school? NEVER!!!! It is more life in a morgue than your office!!!
He has not complained about anything yet... Just a large smile and a big box of icecream on his desk!!!
I would be happy if everyone ate icecream at my party... even if I did not like it!!! (My guests welfare is more important!!)
