90 day reporting ..... don't be late!

Just got back from my 90 day reporting, a day late I was too. The guy behind the counter informed me and asked me to tell the farangs here that if they are late, even one day they will be fined between B2,000 and B5,000. He didn't fine me but did say that if I was late again, I would be fined.

I don't know what happened to the 7 day 'grace' period but you have been warned.

I will go down there today, I should have reported it yesterday but I was busy working (FORGOT)..

Anyways... Just came back from the imigration office... The 7 day grace period is only up front from now on... They started this last month, as the new guy from Phuket or whereever he is from came... He knows the rules (he thinks)...Anyways he told me that he likes candy and biscuits.. The other people there told him I bought them whiskey and chocolate last time I was down there... So I am in his good books...I will plan to be down there before September 2nd... Next 90 days from now...

Why can't this be done by mail? My understanding is that it can in other provinces.

if there is no immigration this can be done by mail... But this is just one thing we have to do in order to stay here...

Up country, you are new here so let me give you a friendly advice... Buy them some cakes and coffee when you get there... Will be forever easier there...
